Day 1- Gobi Gurvan Saikhan Mountain National Park, visit Eagle Valley

Pick up from the airport, drive (1hr drive) to Yoliin Am, and explore the surrounding area in the National Park. Also, visit the Gobi museum at the National Park entrance in the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park which was protected in 2000.  We will pack breakfast and have some picnic activities in Yoliin Am. Return to lunchtime and stay overnight at Gobi Mirage Lodge.

Day 2- Khongor Sand Dunes, camel riding

Breakfast. Travel to Khongoryn Els sand dunes which is 160km(3-4 hrs drive) from the Gobi Mirage lodge. Here, you will have an opportunity to visit a local camel breeding family to experience a nomadic lifestyle and try riding a camel. Have lunch at Gobi Erdene camp located near Singing Dune. After lunch, climb up to the singing dune then Return to camp near by the dune, have dinner, and stay overnight. 

Day 3- Flaming Cliffs

Breakfast, Drive(1hr drive) to Flamming Cliffs. Drive back to Gobimirage Lodge for lunch, then rest in Gobi Mirage Lodge, and play Mongolian traditional games. After dinner,  see a beautiful sunset, and stay overnight. (at night, we can see stars)

Day 4- Khavtsgait Petroglyphs

After breakfast, Drive (1hr) to Khavtsgait petroglyphs dating from between 8000 BC and 3000 BC. From the parking area trail head, a rocky path gains 120m in elevation (1822m) as it winds up a ridge littered with art. In under an hour you’ll see petroglyphs aplenty. Return back to lodge. during the dinner
time, our staff will perform traditional dance and singing performances for all visitors, stay overnight.

Day 5- Gobi Mirage Lodge

Early check out. Drive to Dalanzadgad airport.
